TrainingThe finest electrical workers in the country receive their training through the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee of National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). It's a model education partnership which produces the best-trained, most up-to-date electrical apprentices and journeymen in the country.

Kansas Chapter NECA has three local Electrical Training Centers in the state. Hutchinson, Topeka and Wichita all offer quality electrical apprenticeship opportunities. For more information on the Training centers see http://wejatc.org/

Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC)

The National and local JATC's goal is to provide the highest quality training to those interested in a career in the various fields within the electrical industry.

In addition to receiving skill training on the job, our apprentices are provided trade related classroom training that produces competency and pride that lead to true craftsmanship. Quite often some local training committees provide special classes with hands-on training to support classroom lectures and discussions.

Electrical Licensing Continuing Education

Present Electrical licenses holders need to document the approved classed they have attended and maintain the class completion certificates. Click here to obtain a copy of document required.

Kansas NECA, as a nationally recognized trade organization, may provide (sponsor) the training. Anyone who desires to hold a training class should complete the following form and submit it to the Chapter Office. Click here to obtain a copy of the document required.
